Currently, the reception (Information Centre) for the biosphere reserve is situated at Abono, one of the Lake’s fringed communities. At the reception, a visitor is given a brief history of the lake and its surrounding communities.
The visitor also has the opportunity to see some artefacts made in the area as well as historic items, pictures and maps of the biosphere reserve. Visitors can get information on tourist offers, as well as book a boat ride on the lake.
The following hygiene requirements must be observed:
- Anyone who has recovered, who has been vaccinated or who has been tested has access to the Information Centre.
- Visitors must also wear a medical face mask.
